thigh lift

In your struggle to regulate your weight and maintain your shape, your thighs might be some of the most difficult parts of your body to control, especially for women. If your skin is tight and has retained its elasticity, liposuction can successfully remove stubborn deposits of fat that do not respond to diet or exercise. But if you have lost a significant amount of weight, your thighs may have accumulated an excess volume of skin that might sag, or cause your thighs to appear dimpled or flabby. In this case, a thigh lift may be an effective way to smooth out your skin and sculpt a more satisfying leg contour.*

During a thigh lift procedure, the kind of incisions we make will depend on the kind of operation you need. Similar to a brachioplasty, the scars can be visible, but most patients find this an acceptable trade-off for a better thigh contour.*

After we remove the excess skin from the appropriate area of your thigh, we close the incision using deep tissue sutures, which will provide needed support to the inner structure of your leg. During recovery you may need to wear a compression garment in order to help your inner tissues heal.
